Molly Healey
Based in Springfield, MO, Molly Healey is an instrumentalist and songwriter described as a "One-Woman Orchestra" who brings the depth of an orchestra to the energy of a live rock show. Originally a longtime fiddle player for the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, she launched her solo career in 2015 by blending strings and voice through a looping pedal to create atmospheric orchestral folk. Over five albums, her sound has evolved into a high-intensity genre she calls "ODM" (Orchestral Dance Music), which combines an electronic pulse with emotional depth and lush string arrangements. Influenced by artists like Radiohead and Portishead, she skillfully balances a dazzling variety of instruments—including cello, violin, guitar, and piano—with her strongest asset: a voice honed through singing since childhood.
