Justin Larkin is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Springfield, Missouri, who has spent over 15 years performing across the Midwest. His music is a distinct and hearty blend of Roots, Soul, and Rocknroll he calls "Cosmic Ozarkana Music," a sound influenced by a childhood spent listening to local oldies radio and inspirations ranging from the Rolling Stones and Tom Petty to the emotive vocals of Chris Cornell and George Jones. Since 2018, he has refined a unique solo performance style using a modified license-plate suitcase drum, foot tambourines, and harmonica to deliver a "full band energy" as a one-man show. This Ozark spirit culminated in the March 2022 release of his debut solo album, Nowhere Is a Place, a collaborative project featuring a "Wrecking Crew" of the region’s finest players, intended to capture the sounds and spirit of music made with love from the Ozarks.
